Central Systems Engineer

Role overview
RaceBird Systems data management and analysis

RaceBird fleet wide software updates and management

Monitoring of RaceBird system health across fleet

Diagnosis and resolution of RaceBird system issues
Technical experience
Laptop literate

Experience with Motorsport data analysis tools – McLaren Applied’s ATLAS software or similar (MoTeC i2, Cosworth Pi Toolbox, WinTAX, WinDARAB) required

Experience with ECU Calibration tools – McLaren System Monitor or similar (Cosworth Toolset, RaceCON etc) desired

Experience with MATLAB Simulink and ability to view and understand Simulink Software desired

Ability to analyse time series data and spot trends

Good communication skills, ability to translate analytical observations to physical attributes (i.e. Rudder angle data trace -> Driver steering input)

Experience with Vehicle Wiring and communication protocols (CAN 2.0) desired

Experience with High Voltage vehicle architectures and safe working desired
