Didier Drogba's visit to KAUST University with E1 Chief Scientist Carlos Duarte

At a time when technology and environmental care increasingly intersect, Didier Drogba’s recent visit to the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) to meet with E1's Chief Scientist, Professor Carlos Duarte, marks a notable moment in the effort to protect our oceans and their coral ecosystems. This gathering, set against the first race of the innovative UIM E1 World Championship in Jeddah, emphasizes the commitment to electric-powered boat racing and its potential to contribute positively to marine conservation.

Duarte is a pioneer and leader in research on corals, which are critical to biodiversity and ocean health.
